I attended Chiropractic school in Minneapolis MN and graduated in November of 2006. Since this time I have dedicated my life to healing and teaching others what it is to live a life in balance. I focus on the nervous system and the ways that it can influence health when all factors are not in true balance. In order to function optimally our bodies need to be free of interferences and stressors and given the proper tools in order to work at its peak. This is why I focus on a lifestyle of health that involves eating well, thinking well, talking well, moving well and getting adjusted. We must take our health into our own hands and realize that we ultimately hold the key to living the healthiest, happiest life possible.
I am trained in activator techniques which is a hand held instrument that is used for adjusting the spine and extremities. The joy of using this instrument is that it is very easy on the body and the patient is not moved in any positions that may feel uncomfortable. They remain face down on the table as the Chiropractor uses leg length inequalities to check for the areas of the body that need realignment. The adjustment is quick and painless, free of the “popping” and “clicking” noises heard with the manual adjustments.
Applied Kinesiology is another technique that I use. I test different muscles in order to find out information about what is going on with the different organ systems of the body. This works with the premise that the nerves that innervate certain muscles also have their innervation to a specific organ. Proper balancing of the body is required through adjustments, nutrition, neurolymphatic stimulation and cranial work when a weakness is found in a certain muscle or group of muscles. This technique is also amazing for shoulder, hip, knee, foot, ankle, wrist and elbow injuries as well as digestive problems, inflammation, and body toxicity. There is a number of other conditions that can be treated by using this technique.
